Declare June 26th, The Date Of The Supreme Court's Decisions On Same-Sex Marriage, A National Holiday

Created by B.B. on June 26, 2015

One June 26, 2013, the Supreme Court overturned the Defense of Marriage Act, which federally defined marriage as a union of one man and one woman. On June 26, 2015, the Supreme Court ruled that same-sex couples have a Constitutional right to marry anywhere in the United States. We ask President Obama to honor these two events and declare June 26 a national holiday.
