Declare June 7th, "National Coaches Day"

To be an athlete in America today, is to aspire to be at the pinnacle of achievements. But who plays a pivotal role in the athlete reaching their highest goals? Coach. That’s why we respectfully submit this petition to declare June 7th, “National Coaches Day,” honoring those who dedicate themselves to the betterment of others. People who give selflessly deserve a day to be honored. Show your support for the coaches that have impacted you by signing this petition. Bring about a fitting tribute to those individuals who, as President Nixon said in 1972, “do not work for personal glory” but instead gauge their success by "the achievement of others."
