Declare Kansas House Bill No. 2453 allowing discrimination against gay couples and people unconstitutional.

Created by M.K. on February 13, 2014

Per the Slate article: http://www.slate.com/blogs/outward/2014/02/13/kansas_anti_gay_segregatio...
Kansas house bill No. 2453 is unconstitutional. Its blanket wording allows anyone, including police, to deny service and help to gay couples on the basis of religious liberty. The wording is vague enough that they could do the same to gay individuals. This is a major civil rights issue and should not be borne. Please bring this to the President's attention, because it will be difficult for any civil or criminal suits to make their way to the Supreme Court with the way that this harmful and discriminatory legislature is written.
