declare the last Saturday of each March as NATIONAL SUPPORT A WOMAN-OWNED BUSINESS DAY.

Created by C.A. on September 23, 2013

As women entrepreneurs and the co-creators of Professional Training for Women and The ShePOWERNetwork, part of our mission is to advocate the growth and prosperity of women-owned businesses. The National Women's Business Council - advisors to the President, Congress and SBA - released stunning statistics about women-owned businesses in America. One was that women have a greater economic impact than most think - 36% of employer firms are either women-owned or women-led. The Guardian Small Business Research Institute projects that women-owned businesses will create 5 to 5.5 million new jobs by 2018. With stats like those and many more, there should be a Presidential declaration of National Support A Woman-Owned Business Day to raise awareness and support for women-owned businesses.
