This petition is to have President Obama declare Leap Day, February 29th, a national holiday. This day should be given over to the people in order to ensure that every citizen in the United States has this day to explore their otherwise suppressed passion on a day where nothing counts. This day should not be a free work day for the greedy corporations! It should not be a day where they mercilessly make money off the backs of hard working Americans by exploiting this additional, God given day without providing additional compensation.
