We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Declare Martin County, Florida a disaster zone area. The Governor had mandatory evacuations in Martin County.

Created by H.L. on November 03, 2016

My father was affected by hurricane Matthew. There are no resources in Florida other than FEMA that can help him. He lives in a Mobile home and the roof was blown off. He owns the property, and has no where else to live. FEMA denied his application because the President did not declare Martin County has one of the disaster areas. He is a retired disabled veteran and lives on a fixed income. FEMA said if the President declares Martin County a disaster zone, they will help him repair his home.
