Malcolm X was a civil rights leader who spoke with great conviction on the plight of black Americans and was killed for his heroic actions taking on the white supremacist establishment. He was gunned down February 21st, 1965, at only 39. He deserves to be honored with a national holiday on his birthday, May 19th.
