To declare the Mexican Drug Cartels as terrorist organizations and as such a threat to US National Security.

The Drug Cartels in Mexico pose a serious threat to our national security. These are foreign nationals that cross our border and commit crimes on our soil. They are not common criminals. They have military training and military grade weapons, which our Law Enforcement face under equipped and under trained daily. I know, I am a LEO in the southwest. The government needs to stop treating them as common criminals and intervene such as in Columbia.These foreign groups have infiltrated our society, not just in the southwest, but in virtually every region of our nation. They may not be religious fanatics but their aim is still the same, to instill fear in the lives of Americans and disrupt our way of life. The Taliban and Al-Qaeda profit through opiate sales.
