The Super Bowl is the most-viewed single sporting event in the United States. Just this year, 111.5 million people tuned in to watch the Super Bowl; whether it is for the actual game, the commercials, the halftime show, or the whole thing. It's a tradition for many households, we gather around friends and family to watch this event. If a local team wins, one can expect a plethora of parties, social events, and the most awaited Super Bowl parade. With all these events, it is very unlikely that supporters get a good amount of sleep or have enough time to flush the liquor out of their systems. Around 1.5 million people called in sick, and near 4.4 million arrived late for work this year. This is why I propose that the winning team’s home state get a holiday, a day to revive and recuperate.
