Hundreds of millions of dollars are lost in worker productivity the Monday after Super Bowl Sunday. Also, one must consider the negative effect on public safety created by tired and possibly hung-over or still inebriated people out on the road trying to get to work. I say in celebration of our uniquely AMERICAN game, that the Monday after Super Bowl Sunday be declared a national holiday. We can call it Magnificent Monday!
