Declare the Monday after the Superbowl to be a national holiday.

Created by A.R. on January 16, 2014

Millions of Americans watch (or want to watch) the Superbowl every year. Football is a purely American sport and brings family and friends together. By declaring the Monday after the Superbowl a holiday, people that generally have to work might be able to get the day off, which would increase morale for a large number of people and provide low and middle income families with more time to spend with each other. If EU nations can take an entire month off every year for national vacation, why shouldn't Americans get one Monday holiday per year guaranteed?
