Traditionally, the day after the Super Bowl is a day on which many Americans call in sick. This petition seeks to further the aim of recognizing that this administration is calling upon employers to offer more sick leave to employees. Productivity levels are extremely low on this day and many people use the day to recover from celebrations surrounding our most popular annual event. As such, we the people believe that the day after the Super Bowl should be declared a mandatory national holiday and that all workers should be given a paid day off.
