We the People petition the United States government to make the following Monday of Super Bowl Sunday a National Holiday.
Year after year the Super Bowl attains hundreds of millions of viewers. It is widely considered a national holiday itself already, with families and friends getting together to participate in their own Super Bowl traditions. Whether they stay at home and have a family BBQ or go out to a local bar and cheer on their favorite team, everyone looks forward to Super Bowl Sunday whether they even like the sport itself or not.
Everyone however, does not look forward to the Monday after. Following the binge eating and drinking they had likely done the day before, they wish that they could get one more day to recover, and one more day to argue over "who should've won."
