Declare the Monday following the Superbowl a national holiday.

Created by W.G. on December 27, 2012

Football has become the new National Pastime, and the greatest day of the football season falls on a Sunday. In light of the importance of that day and in light of the social community it brings, this nation should resolve itself to honoring the greatest day of the sporting year by allowing full festivities that can be allowed to continue into the Monday following "the Big Game." As a result, the Monday following Superbowl Sunday should be declared by this great country as "Superbowl Monday" and be considered a national holiday and day of rejoicing.
