A Declaration of a National clean-up day would follow from an educational initiative fostering greater awareness of local environments that maintain safe, clean infastructures, beautiful parks and no-litter zones.
The educational initiative would seek to support classroom curriculum content that teaches " we are our environments."
Curriculum would include volunteer student clean-up of local parks, impoverished neighborhoods, beaches and roadways.
Greater awareness through citizen involvement in his/her community and neighborhood cleanliness and maintainance, could include National standards established by government to require commerical and private owners of property to adhere to clean property and maintainance laws.
