Declare a National holiday for Operation Desert Storm dedicating February 23 - 27 as the 100 hours of the campaign.

Created by J.A. on February 25, 2015

A holiday In observance of its 25th anniversary

Operation Desert Storm ushered in a feeling of national pride our country hasn't experienced in almost 25 years. Because it lasted for only a short while (100 Hours) it was considered 'safe'. The campaign was termed the "Nintendo War" for its use of advanced technology within the media and militarily.
The organized effort of leadership gave the campaign additional credence when numerous countries agreed with and mustered the support of people from many other nations throughout the world.
Our country became truly galvanized when troop returns in almost every community was a national celebration. For almost a quarter of a century since this epic event yet, our calendar does not reflect an observance dedicated specifically to this campaign.
