Declare the National Rifle Association a domestic terrorist organization as defined by the US Patriot Act.

Whereas the leadership of the National Rifle Association,
a) has pursued policies contrary to the general welfare of the population by encouraging the proliferation of firearms;
b) has willfully misrepresented the Second Amendment to the Constitution of United States of America, and actively disseminated errant, misleading, and inflammatory materials in support of these;
c) has aided and abetted groups and individuals whose stated intent and purpose has been to subvert the democratic process;
d) has coerced and manipulated the legislative process at the state and federal levels;
e) has ceased to reflect the views of the majority of its membership on matters concerning the availability of assault weapons;
we therefore petition USDOJ to declare the NRA a domestic terrorist group.
