The Safe Act will in no way stem gun violence. Restricting magazine capacity to seven rounds in effect bars law abiding citizens from owning most firearms. A vast majority of the most commonly owned pistols in the country hold more than seven rounds and no magazines that only hold seven are produced for them. To allow this to stand would be a gross overreach over power and unconscionable.
