We, the undersigned, do hereby call upon our elected leaders to declare November 11 Tony Romo Day... in perpetuity. On this day -- and in this year (2012) -- Señor Romo turned in one of the most storied performances ever in the anals of Mexican-American quarterbacking. Not since the Alamo has a Texican displayed such courage under fire, with Romo racking up 209 passing yards in the Cowboys' decisive two-touchdown road win over the Eagles. Said Hall of Famer Troy Aikman of the sure-to-be legendary performance, "you know, Romo wasn't that bad today". Fiscal cliff and foreign policy crises be damned-- it's high time for America to celebrate a real (sort-of) American hero! Give us Tony Romo Day or give us death... but failing that just give us more of those piping hot El Fenix sopapillas!
