In the days since 9/11 when 2,996 people were killed on American soil by terrorist we have seen 334,168 Americans die by guns in the United States. We have lost more than 100 Americans since 9/11 for every one that died on 9/11.
While we have the right to bear arms guaranteed in the constitution, we also have the right to free speech. However, the NRA’s actions have been to prevent safety for Americans and are directly responsible for creating an environment in which those that should never have guns thrive and are able to get their hands on as many guns as they want.
