Declare October 10 as "National Test Flight Day" in honor of the brave adventurers who've made the skies safe.

Created by C.F. on October 14, 2014

The general public has a poor appreciation for the sacrifices made by brave individuals in the flight test industry. Test pilots, flight test engineers, and others work tirelessly to ensure aircraft, both military and civilian, are as safe as possible. Let's have a day to honor their sacrifices. October 10, 2000 was the day a test flight crashed in Wichita, killing all three crew members, including experimental test pilot Eric Fiore, a former F-15 fighter pilot. Let's designate October 10 as "National Test Flight Day."
