Every year it seems like the holiday season starts sooner and ends later than the year before. Almost every American regards the holiday season as a special time of the year, and most would agree that the longer something lasts, the less special it becomes. Therefore, we the people request that the holiday season have a set start and end date, and that nothing celebrating, referring to, or referencing the holiday season (including but not limited to commercials, ads, songs, decorations, or TV specials) be shown or played before or after this time period by any law-abiding business or corporation. We also request that the start date for the holiday season be Black Friday and the end date be New Year's Eve.
