Declare the open carrying of a gun to be an act of terrorism in the eyes of the law.

In this age of mass shootings and acts of terrorism, the mere mention of a gun is enough to make one uncomfortable. In our society, we even fear sending our children to school, a place where they should be safe, due to the threat of school shootings. However, in some states, it is still legal to open-carry a gun. Why would someone need to display their gun if not to frighten the public? There is no logical reason for open carrying, and it needs to stop now so the American people are protected from the rage of gun enthusiasts. We the people petition the Obama administration to declare the open carrying of a gun to be an act of terrorism, and to make it an illegal act.
