The Patriot Act revoked our most basic civil rights at the whims of the federal government. Now all of our personal information, including all phone calls, texts, and emails can be monitored by the federal government. We can even be detained and locked away for the rest of our lives without ever seeing a trial. This Act was supposed to keep us safer from alleged terrorists, but really just made us infinitely more vulnerable to who can really affect us, our own governing body. Keep America free and keep us from becoming a police state by signing this petition.
