Declare Public Education as being in a state of Emergency and hold a review of policies with educators.

Created by J.S. on January 28, 2016

"Every child deserves a champion-An adult who will never give up on them...and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be" (Rita Pierson). This is the true measure of success in a school-developing a child that leaves feeling supported and accomplished.

It is atrocious that many talented teachers, are leaving the profession because they are overwhelmed with an insurmountable amount of tasks being piled on top of each other. Impossible tasks, that when completed only bring the promise of more budget cuts and less resources.

We are in a state of emergency when school buildings are dilapidated and we are running schools with skeleton crews instead of fully staffed campuses.

There needs to be a review of policies with educators to solve these issues.
