There are over 300 million Muslims in United States and it is one of the fastest growing religion.
According to the amendments, every one has right to practice their religion in this country. But some times Muslims face a very hard situation when their Festival falls on Weekday. Because of the working day, they cannot celebrate their Festival with peace of mind nor can they spend the time with their families.
Lot of countries in the world let Muslims celebrate their festival by declaring a public holiday.
So, I am requesting the Government of United States to declare public holiday for the major Muslim festivals like Ramadan and Eid Al Azha.
