Declare public holidays for Eid & Diwali so that 21 Million productive Hindus and Muslims feel part of American society!

There are 21 Million Hindu and Muslim Americans who've lived and contributed greatly to American society, economy and education for several decades. If 3 Million Jews can have public holidays for their festivals, then 21 Million Hindus and Muslims deserve public holidays for Diwali and Eids too. Asian Hindus and Muslims are the most educated and affluent demographic group in the US today and contribute most to education and the economy. We live here, our kids stay here and our kids deserve to know that we are as much a part of American society as Jews and Christians. We're Americans too and our religious holidays deserve to be recognised too!
