On December 5, 1933, Prohibition was repealed via the ratification of the 21st Amendment to the United States Constitution. To recognize the positive impact of this historic event on the economy and culture of the great Commonwealth of Kentucky, we hereby request that December 5 be established as a National Holiday, in Kentucky.
