I petition the Obama Administration to declare September 17th as a new national American holiday; Constitution Day.
It was on this historic day in 1787 that this great nation ratified the Constitution of the United States, thereby allowing the American government to "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land, to all the inhabitants thereof." (Leviticus 25:10)
For this reason, this day should be revered and celebrated by the People of the United States as a proud part of our history and American culture.
I hereby respectfully petition the Obama Administration to declare a national holiday on September 17th; Constitution Day.
