On 11/27/2015, Robert Lewis Dear walked into a Planned Parenthood office with a loaded, fully automatic AK-47, and took three lives while injuring seven other people. When he was arrested, he clearly claimed "no more baby-parts", showing his actions were politically motivated. Merriam-Webster's dictionary states terrorism as being "commission of an act of violence for political goals".
Unfortunately, now we have a two families in Colorado, one without a mother, the other without a father, and a dead veteran of the Iraq war. Meanwhile, the Republican party, the religious right in our country, and people opposed to safe and legal abortion continue to beat the drum and fan the flames in people like Robert Lewis Dear, inciting them to violence. It's time for something to be done against them.
