Declare the "Rebel Flag" to be a symbol or treason and racial hatred.

An official statement from the Executive Branch that the "Confederate flag" is a shameful, treacherous, and treasonous symbol of America's past. Declare in no uncertain terms that those who fly that flag do so as an affront to our nation, our shared commitment to the prosperity of the nation, and to the men and women who have served in our military for the protection and preservation of our republic. The Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia represents a continual call to arms; the flying of that flag should be seen as a terrorist threat and treated as such. Those who hoist a battle flag seek an active engagement; they wish to declare their intention to wage battle against their perceived enemy. The enemy appears to be our republic, and those within it who are not Caucasian.
