The United States is sick. The country is overrun with disparity, racism, religious intolerance, superstition. Whole sections of the population want to secede, while others are steadfast in their desire to run the union in to the ground.
The only rational thing you are left to do as President is to declare martial law and establish order. Yes, radical elements that call for secession, militant racists, Dominionist theocracy or corporatist oligarchists should be rounded up and arrested. These are in effect enemy combatants and likely to become domestic terrorists. As a president you should defend the peaceful against those whose intent is civic malevolence.
The time to set things in order is now. Be a president for the peace-loving and take steps against unashamed oppose democracy.
