In recognition of the marvelous achievements of Brandon McCartney, aka "Lil B", aka "The Based God", we the undersigned hereby request that you grant the third Sunday of every August to be annual "Based God Day".
Since his ascension to musical perfection began with the Bay Area rap group "The Pack", Based God has become the voice of a disillusioned generation. Amidst the strife encouraged by an era of political partisanship and uncertainty in the economy, Based God has soothed listeners with such amazing lyrics as "Don't look at my past/I just left it in this dark/I could start from scratch/Multiply the truth, it's all facts" (Neva Stop Me) Based God has captured the voice of America.
We the undersigned ask that the third Sunday in August be National Based God Day to say "Thank You".
