Despite never having articulated a mission for our military in Afghanistan, it is obvious to all that we have completed that mission. Now is the time to declare Victory in Afghanistan, thank President Karzai for all he has done, and remove all US military personnel from Afghanistan with all deliberate speed. Any further death and destruction is an unconscionable waste.
