"Instead of a War on Poverty, they've got a War on Drugs..." I petition President Obama to declare a War on Poverty just like we did the War on Drugs. Make it very similar to the way President Reagan declared the War on Drugs. As we wind down the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, we should declare a war on Poverty here at home to heal our nation. I know President Obama listened to Tupac's cover of "Changes" in his time, and I urge us to follow that example.
