We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Declaring January 21 as National Buyer's Remorse Day

Created by K.R. on December 23, 2016

Every four years we elect a president that a segment of our population votes for, then after the vote is counted, regrets casting it. Whether that regret is instantaneous, the morning after, or the following week, month, or year ... the pain is intense and unending, until the next election.

The reasons we cast that vote are immaterial, but may include: broken (or unfulfilled) campaign promises, statements that were accepted at face value and later were found to be completely false, unsavory personal habits, late-night Twitter storms, tiny (really minuscule) baby hands, or return from temporary insanity.

We demand redress, we demand our voices be heard. We demand Congress declare, and the President ratify, that every January 21st be henceforth known as National Buyer's Remorse Day !
