The declassification and approval for public release of government information has become a joke. Recent publications of guidance on the matter are either ineptly created or intentionally obtruse. DoDM 5200.10 especially fails to capture the necessary components of control. To put it mildly, DoD 5200-r was a sorry document. DoDM 5200.10 is inane patter.
