We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Declassify Hemp as a Controlled Substance

Created by J.J. on September 13, 2016

We the people of the United States of America are, once and for all, petitioning for the declassification of hemp as a schedule 1 controlled substance under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA, 21 U.S.C. §§801 et seq.; Title 21 CFR Part 1308.11).
Under the current law, hemp is classified as a schedule 1 controlled substance - the same category as Heroin, bath salts, and other lethal drugs. This is the same plant that farmers around America were required to grow for the WWII war effort, the same plant that many of our founding fathers grew, including Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, and the same plant that many other developed countries around the world are currently growing with great success, including Canada. It's time for the effective ban to be lifted. Hemp for victory!
