President Bush classified 28 pages of the 9/11 report. It has now been 13 years since that great tragedy. The families of those who died that day deserve to know what happened. The families of the thousands who have died in the retaliatory wars since then deserve to know what happened. The nation deserves to know what happened.
There is a lot of speculation about what is in those pages. Most of it has to do with accusations against the Saudi royal family. If those accusations are not credible, then provide the explanations alongside. If they are credible, then let's put them in the light of day.
Mr. President, you have the power to declassify. Those who have seen the pages indicate they are embarrassing, but not a threat to national security. Please declassify.
