Numerous scientific studies have shown that cannabis has powerful medical properties that can help heal our citizens, yet the federal government has this plant classified as having no medical purpose and as dangerous as heroin. In this day and age, it is a known fact that this isn't the case. It's due time that we as a people have access to what is put on this Earth by a power higher than our own. Government isn't protecting it's citizens; it's protecting big money. Medical marijuana has the capability of replacing many (more addictive) pharmaceuticals that are advertised and pushed onto people in search of hope and healing. Cannabis also has sustainable properties in the form of hemp which can also assist in the movement of "going green." It's time for change.
