Decline Ray Lewis' invitation to attend the White House ceremony due to his PED use and his murder indictment in 2000.

Created by C.T. on February 03, 2013

Ray Lewis of the Super Bowl winning Baltimore Ravens was indicted on murder and assault charges in 2000. He was mysteriously acquitted. Fast forward to late 2012-2013, it appears as though Mr. Lewis used PED's to make a fast return to the NFL. However, he was not punished while others were. This does not set a good example for our youth and for teens who wish to play the game like Mr. Lewis and many others. The President should not extend an invitation to Ray Lewis as he is not the proper role model or someone to shine on the national spotlight. We should ask that the Obama Administration rescinds his invitation while offering to host proper players and coaches who are.
