Every year children around the country take standardized tests, such as the SAT's and exams specific to every state, to judge the performance and intelligence of students. This adds unneeded stress and defines the student as just a number on the test. Every student is unique and should be treated as such. Children have skills that go far beyond the testing system and should have the ability to demonstrate skill instead of memorization of facts. By signing this petition, you are saying that students are not just a number.
