The petition I have created is to decrease the cost of renewable energy such as solar energy. Over the past years, scientists have discovered many sources of renewable energy that could be used as an alternative to fossil fuels. One of this type of energy is solar energy. Solar energy today costs a lot of money. Government spending is also a problem because the U.S. is in debt of over $15.23 trillion this year. If solar panel costs were to decrease, taxes would go higher. So, this petition creates a situation in which neither taxes, debt, or renewable energy costs will increase. This plan is for the U.S. government to stop spending extra unnecessary money and save it on renewable energy. This will benefit many people in the U.S.
