Over the past four years both the Congress and the Executive branch have meddled with the government servant's pay without consideration to reducing their own pay. During the past four years government servants have lost 8.1% in COLA in comparison to the military that they work side by side with. This year government servants face another 8.3% reduction in pay due to furloughs. America's Executive and Congressional leadership should experience the same wage increases or decreases as the rest of all government service employees. This is only fair and keeps Congress as well as the Executive branch in touch with the rest of the public servants in the United States of America. These pay increases or decreases should be permanently linked togehter. This pay change should begin immediately
