Everyday, the Earth's supply of non-renewable energy source shrinks. Regardless, America continues to pour more and more money into this terminal industry. The U.S must soon come to the realization that they are investing in "what was", and not "what will be". It must transfer funding used to obtain non-renewable sources of energy to the development and infrastructure of modern day energy- clean energy. With a harness on renewable energy, America will be able to become a global leader and independent economic powerhouse once again using these utilities and knowledge. Renewable resources is the future. Isn't THAT what we should be investing in?
