Decrease government spending.

Created by A.B. on March 09, 2013

Every year, the United States government spends extreme amounts of money. According to the information I am capable of accessing (wikipedia and similar sites), we have a national debt of approximately 16 trillion (1.6*10^13) dollars. This is a serious issue. Government spending is not solving the problem. Approximately half a trillion (6.8*10^11) dollars are spent annually by the US government on warfare. Approximately half a billion (~5*10^8) dollars are given annually to Columbia in the name of the War on Drugs. There are many more such cases where the government spending is at best unintentionally wasteful. By reducing this spending, the national debt could be paid back faster, which would improve the United States' economical situation, and raise the value of the dollar.
