Decrease International students fee in U.S. university

Created by S.B. on February 01, 2014

As being international student for almost five years including high school and university, it gave me an opportunity to experience new cultures and aspects, however, it has caused economic problems for paying the tuition fee for five years. According to one of the New York Times article mentioned that “Each international student pays tuition of $28,059, about three times as much as students from Washington State.” It is true that U.S. colleges are providing us professional educations and experiences, however, tuition fees are hindering us from receiving those services and some of the students are taking their one or two semesters off because they could not pay for their tuition. Money should not be a stumbling block to their academic objective.
