Decrease the military budget from the $700 plus billion. Put the money towards assisting the dwindling middle class.

The government spends about $760,000,000,000 a year on the military budget. Yes, that is with 12 digits. This money could easily be dwindled to less then $500,000,000 considering this is no longer a time of crisis, or war. The money could be used to assist the middle class Americans that are forced into bankruptcy due to the dwindling jobs. The money could also be used to assist the companies founded within America but due to the economic downturn, these companies that helped support the countries economy, now are not here to help. They have been off-shored to other, less expensive countries. These countries charge a fraction of a price to create the product, that is understandable, but why cant the United States assist these companies in gaining back the large economy they created.
