decrease the national deficit by increasing taxes on cigarettes and decreasing the budget used on prisoners.

Taxes should be raised on cigarettes to 25% as cigarettes are the number 1 preventable cause of heart disease, strokes, lung disease and many cancers costing around 96 billion health care dollars.
The budget used to keep crimincals alive in prison facilities should be decreased by 20%. This 20% would come out of the costs for prisoner health care, food and leisure activities such as gyms, etc. Prisoners get better healthcare than most Americans.
The cost savings from the budget cut and taxes would go to reduce the national deficit.
