Decrease or eliminate high stakes standardized testing in public schools.

We are measuring the effectiveness of schools using standardized testing, the stresses of which are passed on to students. Conformity has become the number one priority. Students as young as 9 years old in some states are being alienated because they see no purpose in their own education. Teachers and administrators are not trusted to do the job they were hired to do. Finland schools rank higher than the United States and their students take one standardized test when they are 16. The United States education system is ranked 17th. The Obama administration has called for education reform. This is a perfect launch pad.
